This narrow asphalt ribbon winds along cliffs that drop to crystal clear blue waters and passes through the beautiful towns of Positano and Amalfi, with the no less stunning hillside village of Ravello a short detour off it. In summer, the coast is jam packed with wealthy tourists. You are much better off going during the spring and autumn.
